Drag Lake

Surface Area: 10.2 km2
Maximum Depth: 55 m
Perimeter Shoreline: 42 km
Access: 1201 Dardanelles Road & 2111 Fred Jones Road
Major Fish Species: Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass

Drag Lake's irregular shape has created a unique shoreline with a collection of inlets and bays just waiting to be explored. The lake has gained an incredible reputation as one of the largest and deepest lakes in the central part of the county, just minutes from the small nearby communities of Haliburton to the west and Wilberforce to the east.

Eagle Lake (Near Dysart et al)

Surface Area: 2.3 km2
Maximum Depth: 24 m
Perimeter Shoreline: 10.4 km
Access: 2661 Eagle Lake Road
Major Fish Species: Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Yellow Perch

Connected to Moose Lake by a narrow channel, Eagle Lake offers a fantastic home base to enjoy all four seasons that this area of Haliburton County has to offer. The beautiful lake is also positioned right alongside a small village of the same name, providing many basic amenities within easy reach for residents of the many upscale homes that line the shore.

Kashagawigamog Lake

Surface Area: 8.17 km2
Maximum Depth: 39 m
Perimeter Shoreline: 34 km
Access: 2483 Kashagawigamog Lake Road
Major Fish Species: Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass

Kashawigamog is a mouthful to be sure, but also the central point to an absolutely stunning chain of lakes stretching across a swath of Haliburton County. The body of water has strong ties to the region's early history, home to some of earliest recreational properties in the region.

Percy Lake

Surface Area: 8.09 km2
Maximum Depth: 33 m
Perimeter Shoreline: 23 km
Access: 1485 Percy Lake Road
Major Fish Species: Lake Trout, Smallmouth Bass

The available properties on Percy Lake are somewhat remote, but not too far off the beaten track. It's also still an area very much under development, so there are plenty of available lots ripe for development. At nearly 4 kilometers long, the waterway provides more than ample space for aquatic recreation of all kinds.
