Halloween is right around the corner, and with that, several exciting and spooky events in the Muskoka area to celebrate the festivities, perfect for bringing the entire family or even friends out to enjoy.

Since the Muskoka area sets the perfect stage for the Halloween holiday, including the beautiful fall setting the area has to offer with a sea of orange, yellow, and red trees, why not take the perfect opportunity to enjoy the picturesque views and the Halloween season?

Muskoka is brimming with countless charming towns and gorgeous lakes, this makes the area perfect for endless opportunities to show off what the region has to offer in its autumn festivities, which is what this list we've come up with is going to be made up of.

Deerhurst Resort Spooky Family Getaway

The Deerhurst Resort is an absolutely breathtaking getaway surrounded by all the beauty that Muskoka has to offer, with vibrant trees on one end and the remarkable Peninsula Lake on the other.

The coordinators of this fun and spooky Halloween event truly went all out as there are countless activities to enjoy for the kids and the entire family at this beautiful resort.

With a barnyard experience for kids where they can dress up, visit the barnyard animals, and trick-or-treat along the spooky trail on the way, they're in for an experience of a lifetime.

There are also some amazing outdoor activities perfect for the adults to enjoy as well, such as the many wooded hiking trails, a disc golf course, a rock climbing wall, an arcade, and much more.

There is even a zombie paintball event and a scavenger hunt trick-or-treat, offering a variety of events from a dedicated team with a passion for making as great of a Halloween experience as possible for everyone.

Huntsville's Great Pumpkin Trail

Located in the magical town of Huntsville, the highly popular and loved annual event of Huntsville's Great Pumpkin Trail includes trick-or-treating down the decorated streets of Huntsville.

The pioneer buildings are decorated by both local businesses and people, this means you and the entire family can join in on decorating a building, which will be judged by the mayor at the end of the event. This is a great way to get the kids involved and help make the town spooky.

As you'll be trick-or-treating in a traffic-free setting, this event is widely loved as it opens up the streets of the entire town to taking part in Halloween and walking around with other families and taking in all of the decorations that everyone helped by a part of.

Halloween Mini Golf & Trick-Or-Treating

An annual event held in the town of Bracebridge, with Halloween Mini Golf & Trick-Or-Treating, you can enjoy going golfing with the kids on a course fully decorated for the season and festivities of Halloween.

The event highly encourages all who visit to come dressed up in their best costumes, offering treat bags as you go back home and admissions are donated to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation.

With two days of Halloween fun at the Northern Escapades Mini Putt, you simply can't go wrong with joining in on the fun with family or with groups of friends.
