Perhaps the best way for young ones to spend their Easter holidays is by testing their searching skills and heading outdoors on the hunt for hidden treasures. Fortunately, there’s no shortage of adventures this year. Discover the following three Easter Egg hunts, they’re sure to make the weekend a memorable one.

Bracebridge Annual Egg Hunt

April 15th, 2022

Presented by the Bracebridge Agricultural Society is Bracebridge’s Annual Egg Hunt. Free for children aged three to eight, the event begins at noon. Be sure to bring your own basket and arrive early – the eggs don’t last for long! The event is known to be over in minutes, so you’ll want to be sure to lace up your fastest shoes, you’ll need them.

Easter At The Gardens

April 16th, 2022

Taking place at Halliburton's Abbey Gardens, the festivities begin with an Easter Egg Hunt, from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Don’t fret though, if you miss out on exploring for eggs, a scavenger hunt lasts all day long! While the young ones collect the eggs left behind by the Easter Bunny, they’ll also need to use their detective skills to decode the secret message in the garden. There’s a special golden egg that will certainly help.

If you need a break from all the searching, a children’s story time will take place at 12:30 p.m. Follow it up with selfies with the ponies or Easter Bunny to capture the moment. Finally, enjoy an Easter treat bag, filled with goodies and hot chocolate to snack on as you make your way home. Tickets are available for $10.

Muskoka Heritage Place Easter Egg Hunt

April 17th, 2022

Discover the thousands of chocolate eggs hidden around the Muskoka Pioneer Village with the help of your teammates (children are split into corresponding age groups for the hunt). Find the special golden egg and win a fun prize from the Nutty Chocolatier. Starting at noon, children aged ten and under can participate in this free event.

For The Adults

Who said it was only the children who can have fun this Easter? Thanks to the Boshkung Brewing Co, parents can look forward to some fun festivities as well.

Flight Bite Nite

On April 14th, looking forward to the Flight Bite Nite featuring the perfect pairing of beer and charcuterie. Starting at 6pm, head to Boshkung Social where Eat Cheeserie + Cocktails await, for an evening of flights and bites. You can look forward to four beers paired with four meats and four different types of cheese. Tickets are available for $30 per person.
