Minden

Situated on the banks of Gull River between Minden Lake and Gull Lake, Minden is a popular summer destination town with a variety of charming small town attractions and conveniences. 

Located in the southwestern portion of Haliburton County, Minden is also the county seat of Minden Hills township, which includes communities like Ingoldsby, Lutterworth, and Lochlin. The town of Minden itself is home to a golf course, boardwalk, and the The Minden Hills Cultural Centre which houses a gallery, the Minden Hills Museum, and the R.D. Lawrence Place learning centre.

Eagle Lake

Eagle Lake is one of the most popular lakes within Haliburton County. While Eagle Lake is not an officially designated community itself, there is definitely something like a community that has developed on the shores of this natural wonder. From the many lakeside cottages, to the market and bakery near Eagle Lake and Haliburton Lake Roads, this is just about as good a place to buy a home as any Ontario’s Cottage Country.

Attractions around Eagle Lake include:

Haliburton

With its central placement at the convergence of Routes 118 and 21, and its location on the shores of the beautiful Head Lake, it’s no surprise that the town of Haliburton is so important to life in Haliburton County.
